I believe “telling a story” is the function of photography. Sometimes the story evokes an emotion, and I desire for those moments to feel palpable.

However this color series is a walk-through of a very different time of life as an artist.

I spent four months living in Africa. And before embarking on my journey I felt compelled and convicted to represent the countries I visited in a new light.

The photos you will see will have my own hand written explanations for the photos. Some photos are simple — some have a bigger story.
